Bored piling compressor
A pile rig needs high pressure and high flow for hole cleaning, casing and air-lift; a 7 bar breaker compressor will not hold a deep pile. Mud packs the cooler, and an overheat stop on a long shift leaves an open pile.
- Typical pressure 10–14 bar (12–20 bar on air-lift)
- Typical airflow 12–25 m³/min
-
Pressure choice
Set pressure from the tool requirement, not from “make it high pressure”.
-
Airflow margin
Leave a 15–20% capacity margin for nozzle / breaker count.
-
Sale or rental
Rent for short jobs; inspected sale can be more economical for continuous use.
Solution
A diesel portable unit is sized to the pile-rig air demand (bar / m³/min); planned on-site support, rental or inspected used kit is quoted in the same terms on muddy sites.
Why a breaker band is not piling air
On bored-pile (rotary / Kelly) sites the air is not for breakers and hand tools. It cleans the hole, helps the casing and, where the method needs it, runs air-lift. Most Turkish piling sites sit in the 10–14 bar and 12–25 m³/min band. Deep air-lift is quoted at 12–20 bar. A 7 bar / 2–3 m³/min breaker class will not meet that demand.
Hose loss and simultaneous cleaning drop catalogue FAD on the job. Selection follows the rig maker’s air requirement and the pile diameter–depth.
Mud, long hours, planned support
- Bentonite and ground mud pack the cooler; radiator cleaning and oil checks go on the shift note.
- A diesel portable on long hours runs hot; a stop leaves the pile and casing open.
- On-site service is planned; there is no 24/7 branch or same-day delivery promise. The only office is in İstanbul Dudullu.
Short projects are quoted as rental; standing piling plant as inspected used sales. We do not sell new machines. Workshop overhaul is in Dudullu; field maintenance is written nationwide on the job order. A quote needs pile diameter, depth and the rig air sheet.
The service interval shortens with mud and hours. Electric compressors are not stocked for piling sites; the park is diesel portable. We do not quote invented airflow or same-day delivery.
Dispatch and job orders leave the Dudullu office. Kocaeli, Bursa and Ankara are field sites, not branches; distance is written as days on the quote.
