Diesel compressors for the job on-site service

01 · Drilling

Problem. A DTH string will not run on a 7 bar jobsite machine in a deep hole; hose and altitude loss drop pressure at the bit still further. Wet or oil-carrying air fouls the hole, and a stop leaves an open borehole at risk.

Solution. A diesel portable unit is sized to the drill string’s bar and m³/min demand; rental or inspected used kit is quoted in the same terms, and on-site service is planned.

02 · Tunnel and metro

Problem. Diesel exhaust builds up in a closed tunnel; when ventilation is inadequate it drifts to the face. Pressure drops at the drill on a long hose, and dust packs the filter until airflow stops.

Solution. Diesel portable air is sized with hose-loss margin and exhaust direction in mind; the filter interval is shortened for dust, and on-site service is planned.

03 · Bored piling

Problem. A pile rig needs high pressure and high flow for hole cleaning, casing and air-lift; a 7 bar breaker compressor will not hold a deep pile. Mud packs the cooler, and an overheat stop on a long shift leaves an open pile.

Solution. A diesel portable unit is sized to the pile-rig air demand (bar / m³/min); planned on-site support, rental or inspected used kit is quoted in the same terms on muddy sites.

04 · Abrasive blasting

Problem. When nozzle pressure falls below 7 bar, blast rate collapses; oil carry-over from a neglected separator ruins the surface before paint. Hose loss and a second nozzle mean catalogue FAD will not hold on site.

Solution. Airflow is sized to nozzle diameter plus margin; a diesel portable with a maintained separator is supplied, and rental or inspected used kit plus an on-site check is planned.
